Structures mimicking human muscles
What happens when cut and pattern in clothes follow the shape of our muscles? These knit structures wrap around the body mimicking muscles contractions and reactions. This design creates a seamless experience and functions as a second skin. Knitting is a technique that allows the development of structured fabric and at the same time, the textile has room for flexibility to reshape. By utilizing conductive thread , Arduino ,and the knitting machine, the textiles are able to decode human movement and translate them into digital information. Humans do not move in straight lines and our clothes should neither.
